You Are Not Alone in This

Have You Been Here?

Some wounds do not announce themselves. They quietly shape every room you walk into, every relationship you reach for, every version of yourself you perform for others.

"
You've been strong for so long, you forgot what it feels like not to be.

Showing up. Holding it together. Carrying everyone else's weight while quietly falling apart behind closed doors.

"
You've wondered if the broken parts disqualify you from something better.

The hurt, the history, the choices made from wounds you didn't fully understand. You wonder if those things count against you with God.

"
You know something is wrong, but you don't know how far back it goes.

It shows up in your relationships. In what you accept. In the love you keep working to earn. And you're finally ready to understand why.

Yes — This Book Is for Me
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Psalm 147:3

What This Book Does

From Where You Are
to Where God Is Taking You

Tori Bishop did not write a book about surviving. She wrote a book about going back — to the little girl, to the wound, to the origin — and letting God meet her there. That is the journey waiting for you in these pages.

Where You May Be Now
  • Performing wholeness while privately falling apart
  • Carrying wounds so old you forgot they were wounds
  • Accepting less than you deserve without knowing why
  • Feeling overlooked, rejected, or simply not enough
  • Wondering if God can still use a life this broken
What This Book Offers
  • Permission to be honest about what actually happened
  • A path back to the girl who first needed healing
  • Understanding for patterns that were never yours to carry
  • A faith that holds even the most fractured story
  • The truth that broken crayons still color

  • You have survived something that deserves more than survival

A personal note from Tori Bishop

A Personal Note from Tori

Hello Friend,

The fact that you're here means more to me than you know.

For years, I carried a story I wasn't sure I'd ever share out loud. Parts of it were beautiful. Parts of it I wished I could erase — the rooms I walked into already bracing to be overlooked, the love I kept performing for. But God has a way of showing us that even the things we call broken still have purpose.

Broken Crayons Still Color was born out of my own journey of healing, faith, heartbreak, and learning to see myself the way God sees me. It's a story about discovering that our value is never determined by what we've been through, what we've lost, or what others have done to us. It's determined by the God who created us.

My prayer is that as you read these pages, you'll find hope for your own journey — a reminder that God is still writing your story, that healing is possible, and that your broken places do not disqualify you from His purpose.

If you've ever felt overlooked, rejected, wounded, abandoned, or simply wondered whether God could still use your life, this book is for you.

I can't wait to share it with you.

With love,
Tori Bishop
